Zelda, a shy, timid but sweet turkey

Zelda is a shy and timid turkey who is gradually gaining confidence with humans as she settle into the sanctuary. She was rescued in late 2019 and is now enjoying life with her turkey companion Hilda. Over 600 million turkeys are killed worldwide each year and many of these live out their short lives in crowded and filthy factory farms. We're so glad that Zelda lives safely with us!​
