Punky Pig, a smart and playful pig

Punky Pig arrived at the sanctuary in March 2016 after being abandoned by her caregivers when they moved house. Although one of our biggest pigs, she is very gentle and friendly and loves cuddles.  All the pigs are personable, but Punky's personality has an extra spark. She is one of our senior pigs and has developed a chronic abscess on her spine. Fortunately with extra care her mobility has improved, although she will continue to live with her condition for the rest of her life. Sadly there are is no cure for Punky, but our vet has said that the abscess is not painful. We are committed to providing our lovely Punky with the best care and quality of life possible!​
