Comfrey, a tall, shy and loving goat who is loyal to his goat friends

Comfrey was found walking the main street in Porirua five and a half years ago, along with his brother, Ginkgo. No one stepped forward as their caregivers, so they received temporary shelter at the SPCA. While there, they made themselves sick by breaking out and eating toxic plants. They then came to the sanctuary where they have been happy and safe ever since. Comfrey is much more reserved than his brother Ginkgo, preferring to spend time amongst other goats instead of humans. He is particularly content around his best goat friend, Simon.​
