Can you take two beautiful piglets? A home is urgently needed! A very kind person has had some piglets dumped on her property in Horowhenua, and given them much loving care. However sadly she is no longer able to care for them. They urgently need to find a kind home where they will be loved pets and not dinner.
This is a statement from their caregiver.
"On the morning of 6 August 2011 we discovered 2 little piglets running around stressed with our Kunekune pigs. There is no way they could have got in there without being put there by humans but we never found out who put them there. We have endeavoured to provide them with a safe home where they won't be slaughtered for meat but they've got too big and boisterous and we no longer have space for them on our small lifestyle block. There are also financial reasons for needing to rehome these guys and as I will soon be running the property on my own I need to downsize.
We neutered both boys (Simon and Louis) when they were young so they'll be fine with sows. Simon is the more placid of the two and he loves to come over for a scratch and a pat.
Please do get back to us if you can help with a home for Simon and/or Louis!
