The Black Sheep Animal Sanctuary has three gorgeous and friendly kunekune pigs who are now ready for new loving forever homes! Miss Piggy, Trotter, and Tommy are all looking for genuine homes where they will be loved, will have company, and will be able to live out their natural lives, and where they definitely will not be eaten. They will also have to be kept on strict diets as they were all very overweight when they came to us, leading to hoof and other health problems. Now with lots of care and some 'tough love' they are feeling much better. Miss Piggy is a very gentle and loving kunekune pig who adores attention from humans. When you scratch her back she grunts so much that she almost purrs. She is eight years old. Trotter and Tommy are brother and sister, and need to find a home together. Both are four years old. They are very attached to each other. Trotter is rather deaf and was almost blind when he arrived at the sanctuary, partly due to big rolls of fat covering his eyes. After losing some weight his sight and heaving have both improved considerably. We are at capacity for pigs right now so if you can help that will give us space to rescue and rehabilitate more animals. Please email blacksheepotaki@gmail.com and we can have a chat about the home you can offer :-) |
