Summer grass is about to be cut for hay, so the Black Sheep Animal sanctuary is fundraising for winter feed. Just $10 buys a haybale!
Can you help the animals at the Black Sheep Animal Sanctuary this winter? Summer grass is about to be cut for hay, so the sanctuary is launching its annual fundraiser to buy in winter feed supplies. In the colder months, the grass stops growing, and so the cows, sheep, goats and miniature horses will all need extra hay, grain, and pellets to keep them well-fed and happy. With increasing numbers of animals, our food bills are climbing, and we need at least $3000 worth of hay and pellets to tide us over until next spring.

We're very grateful and humbled by the support we've received in the past, and we're hoping for your continued support. Although the Animal Protection Society's fundraising shops cover the mortgage on the sanctuary land and some animal care, the sanctuary largely depends on the support of compassionate people to cover our animal care, food, housing and veterinary bills. Our numbers have increased this year, as we've taken in more horses, goats, and sheep (as well as many smaller animals), and so have our food bills!
