Sponsor a group of permanent residents

By making a small regular payment to the Black Sheep Animal Sanctuary you can sponsor a group of our permanent residents and directly contribute towards the cost of their food, vet bills and the general care they need to live healthy, happy lives.

In return you will receive a sponsorship certificate, regular email updates about the sanctuary animals and you can feel proud that you are making an enormous difference to animal lives. You will also have the opportunity to visit the animals at the Black Sheep during our summer open days, during which you will be offered a tour of the sanctuary and a vegan morning tea.

The cost of sponsorship varies between different groups of animals, please see the selection below that need sponsoring and find a recipient that suits you. Once you have decided, click the sponsor button below to fill out the necessary form.
Please note that by generously helping our animals through a group sponsorship,
funds raised will be used wherever we have the greatest need.
Support the Pigs

'Friend' sponsorship: $20 per month

We care for an increasing number of pigs - refugees from factory farms, pig breeders, babies whose mothers were shot -  or just homeless and unwanted. Your support enables us to help these beautiful, intelligent, and playful animals.
Support the Goats

'Friend' sponsorship: $20 per month

We care for a number of happy and mischievous goats at the sanctuary. Some were rescued from dairy goat ​farms, while others arrived because they were neglected, abandoned or orphaned when their mothers were shot by hunters.
Support the Roosters

'Friend' sponsorship: $10 per month

The Black Sheep cares for around 50 roosters, who would otherwise have been killed or abandoned. Vast numbers of roosters are slaughtered as they crow and do not lay eggs. Your support will help these beautiful birds live in safety.
Support the Cows

'Friend' sponsorship: $30 per month

Our cows all have difficult pasts - one was a bobby calf who faced slaughter, others would have gone into the dairy industry, enduring continual pregnancy and the loss of their babies. Help from generous sponsors enables us to care for these lovely cows, and ensures they can live happily ever after with their friends.

The Black Sheep cares a flock of sheep, some of whom were rescued from slaughter as tiny lambs, while others were neglected or orphaned.
Help from generous sponsors enables us to care for these lovely sheep and ensures they can live happily ever after with their friends.
Support the Rabbits

'Friend' sponsorship: $10 per month

The Black Sheep cares for a number of rabbits, some came to us as pets who were no longer wanted, while others arrived as orphaned babies after their mothers were killed. ​Help from generous sponsors enables us to care for the sanctuary bunnies in our predator-free paddock, enjoying lots of love, space to roam and rabbit treats.
The animal sponsorship scheme enables us to help more animals through the Black Sheep Animal Sanctuary.
