The Black Sheep Animal Sanctuary Ōtaki is running its third street appeal, and we are seeking wonderful people to help us - like you.
Can you collect for two hours or more in Wellington on Friday 21 December, sometime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.? All you need is a bit of free time and a big smile! We will provide everything you need, including:
* information about the sanctuary
* official identification as a Black Sheep collector
* delicious vegan treats to keep the smile on your face
* appealing animal costumes (pun intended - these are entirely optional but recommended)
Contact our appeal coordinator Clare Gillard at gillardgirl@gmail.com to sign up.
Our goal is to raise around $5000 to build a predator free paddock. This will be a large enclosed area in which the bunnies, guinea pigs, flightless pigeons, and other small animals can live in complete safety and freedom.
We need your help!
If you don’t want to collect on the street or aren’t available on the day, there are a wide range of other ways you can assist. Please spread the word if you can, and look out for the cows and pigs, sheep and chickens collecting on the Wellington streets on 21 December!
